Just as is the case with Hotel Chocolat, they’ve probably got their hands full with running their chocolate cafes, retail stores, online business and relationships with the supermarkets to get distracted by chocolate making courses at this stage.
I’ve actually been around the Thorntons factory and know that the people there are warm and inviting, and I have no doubt that they’d do a great job of running chocolate making courses, I just don’t think we’ll see them any time soon.
That’s a shame because their chief chocolatier Keith Hurdman is a gent and a great character and would take fantastic chocolate making lessons. Perhaps as part of their centenary they would offer a handful of courses to a few people?
