Who’s It For?
Well, The Chocolate Cellar have a wide range of chocolate workshops available and you can choose to have a workshop for kids which just costs £10 and is suitable for children from 6 to 16 years of age and takes one hour. They also do parties if there are six or more children booked in. They run from 4pm on the last Friday of every month during term time.
There’s also a ‘Dabble’ workshops which costs £30 which goes shows you how chocolate goes from the bean to the bar, some different techniques of making chocolates and then a chance to make your own fantastic creations. Afterwards you can have a chocolate quiz and shown how to wrap the wonderful delights you’ve made. In that price you get a hot chocolate drink and a two hour session.
If that’s not enough then you can do a ‘creative’ three hour workshop which runs along the same line but you creat various truffle fillings and decorate with various toppings. You also get the hot chocolate drink as you do with the ‘dabble’ one. This workshop costs £50.
And if you’re a complete chocoholic they do a full day chocolate workshop that extends the creative workshop with more information about how to taste chocolte, the various different techniques of making chocolate including tempering, piping unsing moulds and making cigarillos. You’ll also make between 20 and 30 different hand-made truffles to take home as well as lunch and some hot chocolate!
